Our Story
Diane Mandel and Susan Teplitz are industry veterans. They were formerly Co-Chairmen of The Lansco Corporation, a leading commercial brokerage firm established in 1965 and the brokerage firm for many of the fashion brands and food and beverage establishments throughout New York City. Diane and Susan are well known in the world of New York Commercial Brokerage for their integrity, and confidential and client centric approach to deliver in depth reporting and bespoke solutions for their retail clients. They often exceed their client's expectations in helping them find the best possible locations at the best terms. Although known as tenant brokers, Susan and Diane do on occasion take on landlord representation and have successfully leased every property they have worked on.
Diane Mandel has spent over thirty years working with retailers and landlords and has worked with a broad array of retailers from Isabel Marant, FP Journe, Grand Seiko, Yves Delormes, Delvaux to Burger King and Carnegie Pizza. Diane has a BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College. Diane completed coursework toward an MBA from Baruch College and passed her CPA exams. Her favorite hobby is shopping, naturally.
Susan Teplitz spent over twenty years helping brands with their marketing and communications plans to deliver successful product launches. Susan then added real estate to the advisory she offers clients representing retailers from Delvaux, Carnegie Pizza, Philipp Plein, Daiso, Italia Independent, and Seize sur Vingt among many others.
Susan earned her BA from Barnard College, Columbia University and her MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Susan is Chairman of The Wharton Retail Network, which comprises a group of professionals in all aspects of retail from private equity to digital/social marketing and attorneys, a network Susan seeks to make available to clients. Susan divides her time between New York, Chevy Chase and traveling to meet with retailers she would love to bring to New York.
Diane and Susan are sisters and native New Yorkers. They also love to give newcomers their insider's tour of the City.
